The strawberries pictured in the pattern are made with Parfait Chunky.

Strawberry:

R1: 8 sc in a magic ring

R2: 8 inc (16)

R3: (1 sc, inc) x 8 (24)

R4: 24 sc

R5: (2 sc, dec) x 6 (18)

R6: 18 sc

R7: (1 sc, dec) x 6 (12)

R8: 12 sc

Insert safety eyes between rounds 5 and 6, about 3 stitches apart.

R9: (2 sc, dec) x 3 (9)

R10: 9 sc

Fasten off and stuff the strawberry, ensuring that you shape out the top of it well to give it a triangular shape. Sew hole shut. Embroider seeds if you'd like.

Leaf:

R1: 6 sc in a magic ring

R2: *sc, ch 4. In the second chain from the hook, sc. Sl st down the rest of the chain.* Repeat * until you get back to the beginning of the magic ring. Connect it with a sl st. Fasten off and sew the leaf onto the top of the strawberry.
