Materials:
- Weight 4 yarn
- Size 3.5 mm hook
- Stuffing
- Yarn needle
Abbreviations:
- sc = single crochet
- dc = double crochet
- hdc = half double crochet
- tc = treble crochet
- sl st = slip stitch
This pattern uses weight 4 yarn. Any yarn may be used, but your crochet hook size will be different. Use a hook 1-2 sizes smaller than your yarn calls for. This pattern is in US crochet terms.
These hearts are SO CUTE and so easy to whip up! You can hot glue a magnet to them to create a laptop accessory, glue them to a hair barrette, sew them onto your amigurumi/crochet projects, or use them as Valentine Card stuffers!

Small Heart
- Make a magic ring. Chain 2.
- Work the following stitches into the mr: 2 dc, 2 hdc, ch 1, 1 dc, ch 1, 2 hdc, 2 dc, ch 2, sl st
- Pull the ring closed. Weave in your ends.
Medium Heart
- Make a magic ring. Chain 2.
- Work the following stitches into the mr: 3 tc, 3 dc, ch 1, 1 tr, ch 1, 3 dc, 3 tr, ch 2, sl st
- Pull the ring closed. Weave in your ends.
