Place safety eyes about half way up the head. You can adjust the placement depending on the size of your eyes, yarn, and if you want them higher or lower on the head.

R14: (1 sc, dec) x 10 (20)

R15: (3 hdc in the FLO, sl st) repeat around and sl st into the first stitch of the round to fasten off. Weave in end.

Bottom:

R1: 10 sc in a magic ring

R2: 10 inc (20)

Fasten off and Leave a long tail for sewing.

Tentacles (make 6-8)

Chain anywhere from 18-26. Beginning in the second chain from the hook, place 3 hdc in each chain stitch. Fasten off.

Feed each tentacle end through the bottom piece of the jellyfish. Ensure the tentacles are placed the way you like them. Double knot each tentacle together and to the adjacent ones to secure everything in place. Take the bottom piece of the jellyfish and begin sewing it onto the back loops of round 15 of the head. Stuff the head firmly as you sew.

Star:

Chain 3. In the third chain from the hook, sc. Sl st to the center. Repeat 4 times.

Fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing. Sew onto the side of the head of the jellyfish.

This is awesome as I just got a custom order request after they saw the smaller version of your jellyfish pattern that I made. She requested a bigger one. People think it’s an octopus sometimes though lol. Thank you so much!
