Fasten off and stuff. Attach the horns to the head at approximately round 4, directly behind each eye. The horns should be about 7 stitches apart from each other.

Ears

R1: 6 sc in a magic ring

R2: 6 inc (12)

R3: (3 sc, inc) x 3 (15)

Fasten off and sew onto each side of the head at round 8 directly below each horn.

Hairpiece

Beginning at round 1, insert your hook into the top of the head and chain 12. Sl st back into the head in the next available stitch. Repeat this in the shape of a circle at the top of the cow's head. You can make as many loops as you'd like (I like to make 5 rounds of loops).

Oh my goodness! This is so cute! It took me 2 days to finish, and I used acrylic yarn. The cow is about the size of my hand. I recommend using pink yarn instead of the body color for the snout. If you use the body color is barely stands out. Anyways I love this pattern and will be making many more!
