Fried Egg Car Charm - Perfect Market Make or Last Minute Gift

Today, I am excited to share with you a fun and easy crochet pattern that is sure to add a touch of personality to your car! If you're someone who loves breakfast foods or just enjoys quirky and unique car accessories, then you'll love this free fried egg car charm. Not only is it a cute addition to your car, but it's also a great way to use up some scrap yarn and practice your crochet skills. Or, it is a perfect market prep make! So, grab your crochet hook and let's get started on making this adorable fried egg car charm!

I used the following materials:

  • 6mm hook
  • Sweet Snuggles Lite in daffodil and white
  • 6 mm safety eyes
  • Stitch markers
  • Yarn needle
  • Scissors

Egg White:

R1: 10 sc in a magic ring

R2: 10 hdc inc (20)

R3: (2 hdc in same stitch, 3 sl st) x 5

Do not fasten off. After the last sl st, chain 20. (You may need to chain more or less depending on your tension and size of your car’s mirror). Slip stitch the chain into the initial chain stitch to create a large loop.

Yolk:

R1: 6 sc in a magic ring

R2: (sc, inc) x 3 (9)

R3: 9 sc

Fasten off and add eyes and smile if desired. Sew onto the centre of the egg white, stuffing lightly as you sew.

That's it! No seriously - that's it. These little babies work up in less than 20 minutes and they are SO cute! If you want a keychain, simply fasten off at the end of row 3 of the egg white and sew on a keychain! Be sure to tag me on instagram so that I can see your beautiful creations! @yarnybox
